Of course a stand alone unit. I'd buy it in heart beat. Whatever your engineers did with that eq bass boost is far and above using the eq in my computer.

I have 30 C in the room.
I use a ceiling fan and the leather pads and I can listen for 45 minutes.
Then I take a 10min break and continue!

I live at elevation so it always cools off even on the rare 100 degree day here in WA state. No AC in my home but it is already below 80 F inside tonight after a very warm day.

Has anyone had the chance to listen to the empyreans paired with a Burson Conductor 3 reference? Been reading up on the unit and so far the reviews seem pretty good.

I had a chance to have the Conductor3 for almost a week at home to test with my Empyrean. Very convincing combo. I called it audio nirvana.
Very clean sounding, wide soundstage, tight, deep bass.
If you started your audiophil journey with the Empyrean you have put the bar pretty high. The Conductor3 will put the bar similarly high on the DAC/amp side.

This product would have to have much more stuff than filters we have right now. But who knows? Perhaps one day we'll have something like that. Never say never

Correct me if I'm wrong but we have never successfully created a vaccine for any of the influenza virus have we? Without it coming back in a new form and render the vaccine useless. It is absolutely clear to me there are 2 things we must do. Practice good distancing habits and definitely do not allow international travel. You can leave but you can't come back for a while. Otherwise the virus resurgency will repeat.
People need to stop partying and start listening to music more. I hear too many stories of people partying and then regret it cause they got the covid bad. You slip up and sometimes life punish you for it. That has been the law of nature for the last 2 billion years.

In Hong Kong.
My first attempt at making a stand for these babies or anything for that matter, this was a trial run before I break out the pricey wood and glad I did it as I ran into things I did not expect. For the final I am going use Bloodwood and just engrave the logo into that, lights are a bit much and that wood will be to awesome to hide. I only made it for all the stands I had the cable ends would bump off the surface and I did not like that so I wanted something taller and more stable.
