I bet it does! You should be set for a long time. That’s a system to build a headphone collection around.Ah man it sounds just beautiful.

How do you find their DAC? What did you have before? It left me feeling meh, but that was under show conditions so who knows. Now just waiting on the empys...
I have moved my benchmark dac3 to my bedroom setup, which is what I swapped the bryston with. Well, it sounds pretty good to me.How do you find their DAC? What did you have before? It left me feeling meh, but that was under show conditions so who knows.
Your amp and DAC look great together.I have moved my benchmark dac3 to my bedroom setup, which is what I swapped the bryston with. Well, it sounds pretty good to me.
Two years ago I bought the DAC3, and I compared it to the Bryston BDA 3. I returned the Benchmark and kept the Bryston. The BDA3 is more musically engaging and natural sounding to my ears. DAC3 isn’t bad, I just like BDA3 a lot more.
Thank you.Your amp and DAC look great together.

I'm not sure if I like one over the other so I'm glad I get to keep both.
I have two DACs too. My BDA3 is in my basement system and my Bricasti M1SE is in my living room system. Both are excellent DACs. If your BDA3 is brand new, it will get better with about 200+ hours of burn-in.Thank you.

I love the Empy sound with the base cables but I want to extract the most performance out of these headphones. I am using the Benchmark HPA4 and DAC3B. I think I could tolerate even a little more detail from this setup.I read the review of the Empy upgraded Silver XLR from a poster here and currently that is the one I want to get. However, I also want to research other options to consider to increase the detail retrieval.
So what do you guys and gals recommend.

We are talking about engineering, here. Drivers, at a certain point, should be broken in, and working within the various design specifications of the manufacturer. Cables too. I can't believe that serious listeners are seeking out '10-year-old aged headphones' or 'high-voltage aged silver-coated wire'.
Well do you know what a metaphor is?
Don't take literally whatever you read
If you had an Oracle turntable you might be eligible for the most Canadian setup award. Now just waiting on the empys...

The S4 should release soon, the S3 is a known excellent pairing for the Empyrean
