Hey, first post here and fairly new to this. This headphone has caught my attention, I have a HD600 and I am hoping it could be a nice upgrade down the line. I'm just curious if anyone happens to know the inner cup dimensions because it appears my ears are a little too big for some of these sets. :relieved:

I really like what Sennheiser does with the earshaped pads and I can wear them for hours without it bothering me. But I am not sure if these would offer me similar comfort. Thanks for any replies! I saw some really nice deals early in the thread, hopefully the next time I'll be around for them too.

Damn awesome to see Meze added more to their store like 109 Pro earpads, 109 Pro and Liric cables, suitcases and more! But at this moment it's a bit bugged to order them...

At first I thought some new earpads for 109 and Liric, but those are "only" replacements.

Hopefully they will release some Liric like pads for Empyrean/Elite at some point

i have 3 questions please because you guys are the pros

im using at the time a Philips Fidelio X3 with a hiby FC3 but I have a FC4 too.
on the official side from the Fidelio X3 they say it have 100mw Max Power Input
but when I download the data Sheet on the same site they said it have 500mw.
im very confused, same on the internet some sites say 100mw some other sides say 500mw.
i know the X2HR have 500mw.
the FC3 have max 70mw all good and the FC4 have 110mw ( 340mw in balanced mode)

The 1. Question is can the Hiby FC4 destroy my Fidelio X3 with the 110mw (or in balanced mode with 340mw) ?
The 2. Question is anybody know what the real max power input of the Fidelio X3 is ?

In some days I get the Meze 109 Pro and I’m very excited to hear it but i can’t find anything about the Max Power Input of these Headphone
the 3. Question is anybody know the Max Power input for the Meze 109 Pro ?

Sorry for my bad English ,I never learned it in school,I hope everyo can understand me.

The only DAC-amp that I tried that overpowered the Meze 109 Pro is the HiFiMan EF400.

All other sources (see signature below) work just fine. My FiiO M11 Pro DAP is my favourite.

In max volume they don’t break too ?
I mean if the the meze 109 pro have 100mw too like the Fidelio X3 (or maybe 500mw I don’t know) but my hiby FC4 have 340mw on balanced they can not brake them ?

Are you sure that both are at the same ohms? It's not going to damage the headphones unless you crank the volume up to ear bleeding volumes. I use my Shanling M6 Pro which has almost triple the power of your Hiby in balanced mode with my Meze 99 Classics. I typically don't raise the volume above 30-35, and I'm sure if I dialed it up a lot it would definitely damage the headphones.

No the Fidelio X3 have 30 Ohm and the Meze 109 Pro have 40 Ohm.
yeah the shanling m6 pro have 200mW SE and 600mW in balanced mode
FC4 have 110mW SE and 340mW in bal. mode
Do you know how many mW the Meze 109 Pro have ?
its just the FC4 have 110mw in SE mode but when the Meze only have 100mW ,it’s 10mW more ( if the Meze 109 pro have 100mW, I don’t know I can’t find this information in the internet.
340mW is way too much in balanced mode ,but I think I will never use balanced mode ,it’s only more power ,no sound improvement and it’s only be good for cable above 10 meters.
And buy the way I can’t hear any difference between hiby fc3 and fc4,they are both absolutely fantastic.

Your dongle won't damage the 109. If that happens, it would be user error. I think you're reading into it to it a bit too much. I would highly recommend using the balanced feature. At normal listening levels it will be just fine.

6500 mW pure joy - ok, the volume pot is at 9 o'clock, so just a fraction of it.
