This combo is indeed superb. Shanling H7 & 109 Pro.
Don't worry, vendors have tripled their sales since this became law.
The biggest fear in internet shopping was buying the wrong stuff.
Now that this risk has been removed (14 day return) sales have skyrocketed
My next purchase will be the H7. How do you like it?This combo is indeed superb. Shanling H7 & 109 Pro.
Thats awesome, have you compared the H7 to any other similar dac/amp? I just got the 109's and currently pairing it with Gryphon but considering the H7 given its better power output. This combo is indeed superb. Shanling H7 & 109 Pro.
Yep on my try list for sure. Just feel a portable dac/amp or DAP is preferred. I seem to like to listen in different places throughout my home.Reminder that 109 Pro sounds great on Fiio K9 Pro. Super linear and clean sounding without being too dry. Pretty wide, too. And gobs of power to spare in balanced mode.
It’s great. Probably beats most of the DAPs I tried in and around its price range, at least better than Shanling M6 Ultra & M7, and Kann Max for me.My n

I had used iDSD Signature for a while before and heard Gryphon. H7 is much better sonically than both. But Signature, being more powerful is best equipped to be used with headphones. H7, is just for IEMS and easy to drive headphones like the 109 Pro here and in this it excels.Thats awesome, have you compared the H7 to any other similar dac/amp? From my understanding, low-impedance-high-sensitivity cans usually don't work so well with tube amps. I did try the 109 Pro with my tube amp initially but didn't really like the sound as it made the sound too warm. My amp also has no gains setting so it added a bit of noise floor but the ones with an adjustable gains might address that.Has anyone tried the 109's with a tube amp? I have a Shortest way sw51+ and I'm wondering if they will work well with it.
