Here is a good comparison between Focal Clear OG (faultless sound - warmer side of neutral - with a great background bass room) and Meze 109 (barely audible background bass - colder, sterile side of neutral - upper midrange and treble focused, but more comfortable):
Their price is more or less the same.
450 g is heavy? Don't ever buy an Audeze can, man.I agree, the Harman Curve of Focal Clear OG looks far from faultless. I put in brackets the opinion of the reviewer in a nutshell. I wouldn't buy Focal Clear simply because of their 450g weight alone.
Unrelated to the 109 Pros except for the fact I bought it to go with those, but the knob alone made the Zen DAC v2 well worth the purchase![]()

What do you mean by fuller? Note weight, meat on the bone, or just more intimate in general?Instead of basing your opinion off a youtube review, why don't you listen to the 109 Pro yourself and let us know what you think.
I will say that the Meze 109 Pro are warmer and fuller sounding than the original Focal Clear. The Focal headband is just painful for me too, the Meze much more comfortable.

Sounds promisingA bit more mid-bass body, and in general they're a bit smoother.
The clears are more clean cut, the Meze a bit more relaxed.
I posted my opinion a few pages back. I didn't like Meze 109 Pro, and at the current price it was a waste of money for me (unbearable treble without EQ). Fortunately I managed to sell my Meze 109 with 20% discount on ebay.Instead of basing your opinion off a youtube review, why don't you listen to the 109 Pro yourself and let us know what you think.
Good sound, bad cable / sockets for the cable. Competitive in that price point, but not quite punching up to an Arya sound wise...
