I'm planning buying the Meze 99 Neo, do they need an external dac amp for them?

I want them to sound loud enough.

If yes what would you recommended for under 150$ usd.

You're welcome! I own the Meze 99 Classics myself but the Neo 99 is known for being a bassier version. They can go very loud.

Nice! This is perfect, I was first thinking of buying the Classics but the price in CAD is too high for what I can put in that right now so I will go first with the Neo and see if this is my type. Anyway Thanks for the response

I would have tried talking you into getting a Schiit Fulla 3 USB DAC/amp.
