Hey guys, the reason for this title is because I think this has been debated but I still have my questions e_e.
I've perused the forum's topics on this but I wanted to ask a more specific question to my own problem.

I am only now entering the world of more high quality sound system.
And after a few reads it seems Grado is the best for Metal.

My range is heavy metal mostly, like: Metallica and stuff, then some Lamb of God, Trivium, etc. That kind of range.
So i'm looking for a good bass, but clean guitar (not too distorted and rasp sound of guitar) and overall quality of sound.

My price range would be at 70€ on some.

Sooo.. What's your opinion?

Thanks.

Ah, I'm Mike and i'm new here xD

I don't think the consensus is that Grado are best for metal. Grado are best for fast and aggressive ROCK. With metal, much of the music is predicated on the bass, which are not a strong point of Grado cans. They'll sound great, but they'll probably lack the kick that metal heads are after.
