Has the venue been finalised yet? Either is fine for me, but which is best for everyone else?

Lock it in for Footscray!

Here I was thinking I'd sell my HF2s but I pulled it out again and they are really good cans...even though I've been spoilt by the GS1ki.

See the front page for place details and timing of the meet.

I'm burning in my HF-2 as we speak. Going back to the ALO-780, I love my HF-2

ALO-780 aren't my favourite can anymore. Now, let's see if that opinion changed when my DT880 arrive

Did you get the recent B stock? The bass on the HF2 calms down after some burning-in. Really bloated and boomy at the start.

Nope. Brand new from a head-fier. The package was still sealed when they arrived here

First impressions was that they are pretty dark, probably because of their bass presence. Getting better now. Another week or so until they will be fully burned in though. I am going to update my impressions thread and review them then.

damn wish i could come to the meet, really wanna try some phones before i take my first step into the audiophile world :p

thinking about picking up a pair of Allesandro MS-2's, listen to mainly rock, classic rock and jazz... and a little pop (john mayer) e.t.c think those cans should suit them well.

I'd like to try the MS-2s as well. I think I have enough Grados...haha.

But still, never hurts to try something new.
