Meier Corda Jazz and Beyerdynamic T90?

Maybe this is blasphemy, but I am very happy with the pairing of my Meier StepDance and Beyerdynamic DT 990 Premium (250 Ohms). Unfortunately, I recently got bitten by a rare insect, Headfiius Walletdranius Vulgaris, and am strongly considering the purchase of a T 90 and the Corda Jazz to run it. I believe that my experience will only be better with upgrades in both departments, but I would appreciate comments, suggestions, excoriations, and possibly fumigations (so that those pesky insects go away and I can afford basics like food and shelter).

Well, I just sent Dr. Meier the money for the Jazz, so now I am looking for suggestions on potential REASONABLE upgrades from the DT990/250 (unfortunately, T1's and HD800s are still out of my price range). Any and all suggestions from the community here are appreciated. Thanks!

I'm trying to get my hands on a pair of Denon AH-D7000s. From what I understand, the Jazz should drive them nicely, that is, if I can get the headphones (woke up a few months too late ).

How about the Hifiman-500. I have a pair and they sound great. I am sure the Jazz would drive them great.

Funny you should say that. I'm waiting for year-end bonus time, and then will probably treat myself to the HE-500s. I'm pretty sure the Jazz would drive them just fine. Do you think the stepdance would as well?
