Gotta say, build quality and design is superb, but the curved and solid zinc body does push onto the flesh a little harder than the bigger but more rounded harmony. My ears get a tiny bit sore, but that's roughly 10 hours straight of having at least one earpiece on throughout the day, which I'll assume is on the extreme end.

Just sold mine on (ironically, to start building up cash towards picking up a set of Harmony or the new FXA7Pro) and did a quick A/B with my Echobox Finders as they haven't had any ear time since I got the Pinnacles. For those who like the overall clarity of the Pinnacle but would line a little more bass presence, they are a pretty close so might be worth checking out. As always, YMMV.

I find the Finder X1 to be much more V shaped than the P1. It has a good bit more bass and treble. The P1 sounds warmer, fuller and more linear over all. The X1 is certainly a good V shape if that's what you're after.

Yeah, I've considered the X1 before during the indiegogo but I think I'm done with heavily V-shaped sound signatures.

I think the harmony and P1 complements each other pretty well. One is slightly brighter and one is far more sub-bass heavy, but both makes sure that the mids and clarity are never forgotten.

Very true - it is the impression of "clarity" and detail in the sound that makes me think of the P1 more than the actual presentation (if that makes sense - far too much caffeine in my system today). The P1 is definitely a more linear/neutral choice.

Is it better to just remove it, instead of keeping it dangling there?

Don't they have to apply it themselves (I have no idea how I would replace the filters myself)?

Usually they are just stickers, so very easy to apply. I don't imagine it's hurting anything being there but if you don't produce large amounts of wax, I think it's ok to remove it.

Just got mine p1, but a bit disappointed of the sound lower volume playing from smart phone.

Otherwise have to attach with mojo all the way, that is a bit bucky :frowning2:

The only works well with iPhone.

Works in burning progress with 3GS LOL :)
