Has anyone listened to the Echobox Finder X1 as well? They are also going for 200 bucks.

I have narrowed down my IEM selection to these two and I think I'm going to prefer the warmer and bass heavier of the two but haven't seen any comparisons yet.

In general the X1 is classically V shaped in frequency response compared to the more balanced and neutralish P1. The X1 has a lot more bass quantity and treble quantity, which makes for a more exciting presentation. Even with the V shaped response, the P1 is more spacious and 3 dimensional in staging with more blackness between instruments for more precise placement.

I only owned the Moshi Vortex pro.

The Moshi Vortex pro is bass heavy and muffled in comparison, soundstage is narrower with a much warmer sound. Built wise both are just as good except I prefer the detachable option and cable material from P1.

Had A83 and Duoza but it's been a long time so I can't give detailed comparison. I remember finding A83 having rather peaky upper mid, and detecting Duoza having coherency issue on low to mid frequency region, and bad fit for me. I don't have these issues with the Pinnacle.

Shane, you ever gonna post that review? You got them like 3 weeks ago, yea?

Discouraged to see reviews being subsidized by the company, but encouraged by some of the honest feedback in here as well.

I'm about half way or more through it but I've been backlogged with reviews to do. Hopefully it will be up in the next couple of weeks.

shoot.. my P1 is starting to develop a connection problem @ mmcx connector. Should I try to apply some contact enhancer like stabilant-22 or email MEE audio and get a replacement? I heard they improved connector design on newer 2nd batch.

I got the same problem and already contacted  support. They will replace it without any problems
