Read the thread again from the beginning and a few more online reviews.
Sod it. I'm taking the leap and ordering one.

Now, can anyone recommend a dealer in Canada? I'm in the sticks and would need to order by phone and have it shipped.

Welcome to the club!

Put my order in for the MHA last week at our newly renovated Magnolia. I just got the call a few minutes ago it's waiting for me so I'm about to head out and pick it up. They had a pair of the MHP1000's to demo, I was able to listen to them for just a few minutes. I may head back to give them a proper listen with my own music. Good sound on initial impression through the Mcintosh sacd player, looks alone you'd think they'd be heavy, closer to Audeze heft but they are comfortable and lightweight closer to the HD800's. I need to stop typing so I can pick this thing up.

Congratulations Griff!! WOW, these units seem to be getting some exposure now. Great product.

SSDaddy, like your set up! I have been eying up a used DA100 to split its duties between being paired up to my MHA, and also form a bedroom headphone system. Would you say the jump is quite noticeable? I really like the wider soundstage scenario.

Thanks

Yup very very very noticeable, it's a whole new beast with the D100. ill give it a 9.3/10 compared to the Internal Dac of the MHA-100 which is a 7'ish/10. Everything improved with the D100

Mine came in with cosmetic damages due to shipping (knowing myself i'd ship that item back to the supplier) but after listening to a few songs, it persuaded me to keep it even with the damages, I just can't wait 10 days for a new one :D Its that good.

Will def grab one of those racks for that price... sounds like a steal for such quality and good looks.  I am guessing the shelf height for the D100 would be half that of the 302 though.  Is it adjustable like that? Am thinking I only need 3 surfaces: bottom=MC302, mid=D100, top=WA7+tp with nothing above it.  Would the MC302 fit as it is quite a beast sizewise front to back

Yup, 1 layer is taller than the others, based from your statement that the 302 is twice the size of the d100. the 302 would fit perfectly with ample breathing space. Well, i don't think there is a 3 layer version, but you can just skip 1 layer on assembly and make it a reserve.

Sorry for the OP :D back to the topic.

Outstanding!  Congratulations! I love mine so I hope you will love yours as well.
