You can but it's not as neat.
Agree, but it works.
Speaking about tubes, has anybody tried the 6TP ? (807 variant)

Another 807 variant? GEC 807 and 5b/254m sound amazing and I won't need to experiment further with 807 type.

Langrex has 1700+ of 5B/254M and they are new tubes.

Mrs X has sent out the replacement adapter and she made the wire shorter. That means I have to make the other adapter wire shorter. :relaxed:

I might ask Jack Woo to make me the 5b/254m adapters because he once offered to make me the EL12 spez adapters.

I have always used the test points whenever new power tubes show up. Safety is always first.

Eric said because you're a wonderful customer and did use the test points, he will provide test points for both the left and right channels for you. :relaxed:

These treasures just arrived , GEC KT66 . Can't wait to try them but finding it difficult to swap out the GEC 807 :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: , they have about 10 hours on them and are sounding wonderfull.

Yes OTK, made in Ulyanovsk factory. All the way from Ukraine. Waiting for the super glue to dry before trying it. And DeOxit the pins first.
Do you use DeOxit on all your new tubes or just ones with obvious need ?
