In the case of square wave output, the connectors are not good for both. They just say so to avoid further questions and panicking “audiophiles”.

These clocks work with any DAC that has a BNC input for a 10 MHz clock. Can i connect the master clock directly to my DAC because my DDC does not have clock input?.
Mutec does it right in their cost no object REF-10. Separate outputs for 50 and 75 ohm.I knew there was some kind of esoteric logic to this. Please enlighten me(not joking)
What impedance did you choose for ddc/dac?Yes I'm glad you asked. I'm certainly not panicked, and feel quite confident regarding LHY.

PicturesI just received my "After Dark" clock. It was supposed to have some outputs at 50ohm and some at 75ohm. But all the BNC outputs look the same.
I thought the 50 ohm outputs have thicker plastic around the pin to differentiate it.....
Could someone please advise me if this is correct....

From what I read here, the connectors don't get changed. If you order with a mix of outputs, the circuit impedance should be set to what you ordered. But you can't tell by looking from the outside. Maybe open the box and check if the DIP switches are set (not sure, but since it's user-configurable I guess there are DIP switches)My order was supposed to have two 50ohm outputs and two 75ohm outputs.
All the BNC outputs on the back of the unit look the same and all of the cables that came with it are 75ohm. I assume they messed up- but I don't want to jump the gun.
If both devices have 10 MHz inputs then yes. This is the way a Master Clock is supposed to be used- you drive all your downstream devices from the same clock. That way everything is in beautiful harmonious synchronizationCould I connect OCK-2 to Gustard U18 and Gustard X26 Pro at the same time?
Would both have improvements?
