Big or small, I’m interested to know how much the signature changes with op amp swap.

I wouldn’t say that the character of the amp changes 180°, it’s still dynamic incisive and balanced. Some things are enhanced now like texture and bass, by how much I’ll know when I go back to stock, however it was definitely a new listening experience when I heard it back

Have been enjoying this audio chain since I received my 475(0004) personally from Masuda San on 28 Apr 23.

wow...these two actually stack equally?!?! Not mad at this...I would literally use this as my EDC!

has anyone used the 475 with a Sony wm1am2/wm1zm2? They don't have a line out setting and I don't have the ground pin adapter but after cautiously minimizing the volume and connecting I'm not hearing any noise or interference. I've only used it with batteries. just wondering if there's any risk of using it this way, if not I'll save the $150 from buying the ground adapter.

owned a 404 for a long time and heard multiple 395s before...

both lovely amps that can drive almost all IEMs and portable headphones.

the 404 was also the perfect match for Ultrasone stuff, which are generally pretty picky about the front end.
