Doc, if you have a 2nd pair and you wouldn't mind more bass and body and fullness, you gotta go for it. Seriously transforms them imo. I loved the stock version, but I am absolutely mesmerized by them now.

Its a silly mod..but Seems to work...now that wayne is "mesmerized" , u saved my assssssss man..!!
i fear i was about to be lynched by orthodox headfiers for bastardizing a very good Mikros. 
was agonising whether to delete those crazybassmods..
its 50%hype..n 50%drawerThrash...some quick jotdowns of what i heard thru the quick variations.
Hoping someone would improve on them.
 
Honestly to my ears, the basic Mikros DNA  is preserved, it gets a bigger stage presence..
and when the music calls for the bass, this Mikros just hands it to them.
It aint no bookshelf spkr anymore, it sounded more like a fullrange floorstander.
So guys...go give it a shot, try to improve the mods n lets CELEBRATE this amazing MIKROS !!

i am using it for classicals...soundtracks...i hardly listen to hardrock cept those u put up
 
might try a doublestack on the felt when i next open it up..n see if any improvement can be heard.
Or find myself some Gucci iguana hide, slap it in n see what happens.
