You obviously got the wrong fake beats cable. Must be the extra bucks I spent for mine
Seriously, I have found the highs a bit strident at times with the stock cable. Its been a little while though, so I'll have to try it again now after more burn in.
i am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo contented,
my ipad n 3metalcable bundle of a mess.
mellodelicious, tallishwhelming, depthplorable, n crystafinely saturated.
this album can get messy noisy on less refining cans...
but this Mikros stretches it out in open big sweeping soundscape,
awesome treat...just awesome !
Funny, when the Mikros 90 was released at its regular price of I think close to $300 No one wanted to buy them and now they are a new cult favorite and the price is stupid low............

Innocently clicked on this deaf punk YouTube...
And I was transported to the dance floor right INFRONT of the DJ,
BIG Disco speakers right INFRONT.
The beat was full solid tight pounding..
Both drivers shaking in tandem to the "click"
I was ROCKeted out to space t the end manzz..whew fenomenal!!
U guys must try to open that little hole, n drop in some thrash..
U haven't heard deft punk YET.
I know I haven't gotten enough burn-in on the MLs, but I still find the MS1s with HM5 pads do a better job of the bass at this point. I was listening to this song and took note of it at this point, which is where I like to take reference for depth of bass from.
Very low bass at that point in the song that can be difficult for some headphones to even render audible. I hear it on both 'phones, but prefer how the MS1 renders it. More sub-bass. Seriously. However, I had never actually heard the - mmm... I think it's a kind of distant snare sound -that plays at the same time as the bass notes before. Now that I know it's there, I can strain to hear them on the MS1s whereas they're clear as the light of day on the MLs. These are serious detail monsters, gotta say that. There's a whole load of reverb and other sounds that I've started noticing in my collection, too. Lots of, "What is that sound?" going on .
Again, this is all a "right now" thing. I have lots of burning in to still do, not bashing the holy Mikros.
hey guys...on my mikros, i hear a constant strong dubdubdubdub at 3,29..sub beat thruoghout....clear n precise..
no straining...very very nice..like a helicopter blade spinning in those war movie.
and alot of background little gigglings..watever those are.
