I certainly don't discount Markl's opinion.. he has tons of experience with headphones and I look forward to his reviews.
But I love the D5000 the way they are. I wouldn't want to lessen the amount of bass one iota.

Markl, for a second I thought hell was freezing over!!! Then I looked outside, saw the smoke from the fires (I live in San Diego) and realized it was the other way around
