Magni and Modi vs...

Hey peeps,
 
Has anyone been able to compare the Magni+Modi combination with the Meridian Explorer, in regards to lower-Ohm phones (~30Ohm)? I'm ready to drop some money and I'm finding tough to believe that the tiny Explorer can be as good as the two big bricks that Schiit offers in the same price.

I used schiit products until about a month ago when I could finally afford a Burson conductor, and I can vouch that Schiit puts out very high quality products. I used the magni and modi with my old Toshiba laptop for a office away from home setup, they sound great for the price (you could grab both for 150~ used). I haven't used the Explorer.
 
Also, the magni and modi aren't really "portable" to say, since they need a wall outlet.

Modi is bus powered, Magni needs an AC step-down, wall-wart type transformer.
