Owning the LZR-980 for the 2nd time after I sold my last pair in 2018 due to severe discomfort.
As I remember, these actually sound really rather amazingly quite good.
That's a very respectable close-to Harman-Target tuning there.
The dip at 3.8kHz doesn't sound as bad as it looks either.
Anyone with a small (thin) head and some DIY ability, should probably consider adding this to their list.
DIY ability needed because the pads will need re-gluing after they eventually fall apart due to the soft-gooey glue they used to assemble it.
Occasionally they pop up for quite cheap 2nd-hand now.
