Has anyone tried the Mandarin eartips with their K3Ps?
Yes. I have small and medium MandarinEs and I don't like them with the K3. The bore of the MandarinEs is quite narrow and the wide nozzle of the K3 alters their shape so I don't get a good seal. Perhaps the Symbio W(wide bore version) will work better, but I have not tried them.

Is there is a special way to remove MMCX cables? My stock cables were loose and would snap on/off with ease, but the SainSonic ones grip on like they're hardwired. I tried removing them yesterday and gave up in fear of damaging the K3. Is the connection typically supposed to be that secure?

Same for me, K3 Pros original cables are easy to plug and remove. I have tried my other cable (which is Resonate's stock cable) and it was easy to plug but hard to remove. I am not sure which one is normal thing.

I am listening K3 Pro and LZ A4 for about 1 day and I must say if one buys K3 Pro for current 119 USD he or she will not go wrong. I don't have another IEM about 200 USD or over, therefore I can not say if LZ A4 is better or compatible with more pricy IEMs, but I must say K3 Pro is compatible with LZ A4 for my ears. Yes LZ A4 offers more sound options but I am sure lots of LZ A4 owners will decide one or two combinations eventually and other filters will be forgotten in the box.

Don't get wrong, LZ A4 is very good IEM and there are reviews comparing it to 500 USD IEMs, and I am sure it's price is very good, too. But K3 Pro is surely a steal at that price. I hope it will be durable and live long and I will not get my words back in a near future :)

Well done Magaosi!

I decided to play a bit with more tip rolling and the filters> IMO the k3 pro has several glaring shortcomings and the lack of dynamics is one of them. The k3 pro definitely has tuning issues but it's kinda weird. It can impress you if you listen to it on its own without a direct comparison.
I even told to myself - hey, maybe it grew on me, but that was before deciding to put it against other iems I like. I'm not gonna lie - if you ask me vsonic gr07 wipes the floor with it in almost all departments at a lower price and even vsd3s and vsd5 have more pros than it. I won't even comment on something like the brainwavz b2, which has been discontinued for years and uses the old twfk drivers and is so much more technical and accurate that it's not fair.
I still find redeeming qualities in the k3 pro and totally see myself using it for sleeping with the brainwavz r3 double flanges and the silver filters, which while losing sparkle and resolution bring in coherence and timbre and an overal smooth and non-fatiguing sound. IMO as I said before k3 pro is a decent performer but personally I see it being competitive in the $50-$90 price range

That was very interesting to hear. I definetely can not easily decide which was better if K3 Pro or LZ A4. K3 Pro easily outperformed my other 2 IEMs 1More Triple (99 USD) and Rock Jaw Resonate (155 USD).

Watch out for the 3rd party sellers on Amazon. They may not be necessarily selling an authentic product. Your bet is as good as on an ebay seller in those cases.
