Amazon decided to raise the prices for them, I don't think you can purchase them at that price range anymore.

If you're still interested in them, I can sell you mine. PM me for details.

AT must have increased the cost for distributors, because everywhere seems to be selling them for the same price.

Hey, yeah I noticed a price spike too, probably distributors trying to maximize holiday profits.

I just bought mine from altomusicpro on eBay for $109 + $21 shipping to Canada. I think it's a distributor for Alto Music, which claims to be the world's largest music shop. If you're in the lower 48 states you can get them for $117 with free shipping from the same seller.

Looks like he's listing them 2 at a time, and they're selling FAST. Keep checking eBay for the best deal. You can also get them at the altomusic website for ~$160

Good luck!

I bought mine off ebay. Normally I wouldn't recommend doing so, but there are quite a few reputable dealers selling them on ebay right now for ~$100.

I have seen them for 70 $
http://www.byay.net/audio-technica-m50s-headphones-p-289.html

and for 80$ with free shipping:

Not sure if those are refutable though. Actually, I'm pretty sure they are Chinese so ...

I'm still sort of hoping the pre-Christmas craze
will result in a good large retailer matching those prices.

For now, you can have them for 109 $ from here :

Which do seem pretty refutable from what I have gathered on the net.
