Some people don't have time to listen to their headphones for hours in a day to get to the stage of burn in which is noted to make a difference. If they don't burn it in while they are not there, it could takes months and months. I myself burn in while listening, but I understand why for some people that want to speed the process up as they don't have the time to listen would want to.

I just don`t see why you would have desire to get them ``burnt in`` when you are not even sure how they will sound before, during and after.

To answer your question-anywhere from 50 to 100 hours at least, just you don't have the volume up too loud as you don't want to risk damaging the drivers.
