Hey guys,

As mentioned in my last thread, I am looking for a warm headphone with relaxed treble and a great bass response. Which of the four headphones in the title would you recommend? I will be driving the headphones with a Fiio E6 and an iPod Touch. I am looking within the $150-$200 price range. Can be new or used. If you have any other suggestions, please post!

Thanks!!

Edit: The headphones must be solidly built and closed

Go for Q40. It's prob the cheapest and you can use the savings to buy some replacement ear pads from M50.

In Canada, the prices of all these headphones are the same, with the the Ultrasones being slightly more expensive. Are there any differences between the stock pads and the M50 pads soundwise? Or is it all comfort?

The Q40 stock pads are indeed poor. I have not changed the pads to the M50 pads. But I read somewhere in this forum that changing the pads will increase comfort and boost the bass.

I've never heard the M-audio, but the SRH750 has way smoother highs than both the DT770 and the HFI 580. I think the sound is most to your liking.
However, the build quality of the Shures is absolutely hilarious. It's similar to Skullcandy in their bad days. Very creaky construction and easy to break. The Shures feel like a cheap toy next to the DT770.
