Anyone still alive on here?

My battery has swollen and popped the back cover off.

Anyone know how to replace the battery? I was going to see if I can remove it and replace with a similarly specced battery, but wanted to check here first if anyone's experienced the same issue / has a guide?

Thanks for the offer, but I think i'll take my chances at replacing the battery.

For those wondering, it's held on with adhesive, was able to pry it off slowly w/o damaging anything...
My rough ruler measurements of my swollen battery are ~76mm x 50mm x 6mm

Battery is soldered to the board and should be easy enough to replace... Now to find a replacement that fits.. Hopefully I can source a higher capacity battery.

i haven't installed yet but the LP site mentioned:

1. The media library is upgraded to support 12000 songs;
2. It supports folder jump to select songs;
3. Supports built-in disk and TF formatting function;
4. ID3 display information length increases;
5. Other minor bugs repair.

I have updated (tried both firmware) didn't notice any difference. Based on the modified date, the 20201102 has an earlier/newer date.

In general, a downgrade functionally as you lose the inertial swipe function that allows you swing through songs quickly.

Hi. Could someone tell me how to install the newest firmware onto this player? I tried to do a search, but couldn't find anything. And translation software can't show an English version of L&P website. I have downloaded the firmware itself already.

It was some where in the middle of the thread.
"You have to unpack the FW, copy it to the Micro SD card (NOT the internal memory) and then just update the library and go to the advanced settings. Easy as that and the player will even automatically delete the firmware update file as soon as the update is completed."
