X9 looks fantastic to use but considering ho it sounds i'd prefer the more punchy and dynamic Alpha Pro to the smoother X9.... TBH i'd like to have both and maybe the most similar sounding amp/dac now would be TA32....

It's actually quite easy to give this device a recommendation...also on my part
(The proclaimed price of only 1199 seems to me to be too cheap compared to various other Dac/Amps)
Housing is really top.....the display/touchscreen make a very good impression....visuality/responsiveness
About the features....there are some that make sense....some not at all and I would remove them from the device as they have nothing really to do with audiophile
Personally, if I were to use the X9 then without its features.....as a pure DAC/AMP in bypass mode....this is clearly its strength
The R2R volume control with its clicking noises takes some getting used to
(I mean the ones you perceive when you have the headphones on....not the technical ones you hear)
To what extent there are various problems with the connection to the USBC port and foreign devices will show the future (lotoo/astell/fiio/ibasso etc etc)
My conclusion.... i think the X9 will convince many many people for the asking price
NOMAX
PS.But even more so if this still very unknown brand with its well-known mother takes care of its customers and thus builds up its fan base
(I'm thinking of RME) ️Simply explained...it is in Luxsin's hands alone how many they will inspire with their X9 if they manage to continue to grow through future firmware updates️
If they don't, the product/brand will quickly be forgotten .... but if they do, I see great potential for Luxsin
(LUXSIN....the birth of an Asian RME for headphone enthusiasts?....time will tell us)
