also, if you would like IEM (in ear monitor) type, look up JVC Marshmallows (HA-FX33's)

25$ closed cans will most likely be left gathering dust in your drawer. Better buy 2 KSCs and sell one to fund your next purchase!

Get the 201 and the KSC75 if you want to understand why the KSC75 is such a hit. For the best value, just trust us and get two KSC75s.

I've owned both models.

If you have a need for larger headphones, look at the Koss UR-40 which uses a similar driver to the KSC-75.

hi guys,
sorry for the trouble again.
just one last last doubt i've got.

this is my cart in antonline.com

ksc75 - 12.85$
eh-150 - 22.64$
shipping- 7.97$
-----------------
total - 43.46$
-----------------
i was about to buy it when i noticed that px100 was 35.14$
so i had an alternative choice of buying this way...

ksc75 - 12.85$
px100 - 35.14$
shipping- 7.97$
-----------------
total - 55.96$
-----------------

what was i wondering was is the extra 13$ worth it?
now for my ipod i am pretty sure i will be happy with ksc75.
the reason i am going for my 2nd headphone is for movies and games in my pc.
so with the pc as my primary audio source is it worth spending extra 13$ to go for px100?

please do keep in mind that i first started with hd201 and then started thinking about eh-150 and now i end up with px100 in mind.(guess its the head-fi effect
wink.gif
)

so is the px100 a killer headphone or something? is it miles and miles ahead of eh-150 that i must certainly go for only px100?
home and office pc will be my primary audio source.

please share your opinion. i hope to make a decision by today.

thanks in adv

I recommend choosing a store with a good return policy. Newegg has a 30 day no hassle return/exchange policy and will give RMA numbers at a drop of a hat. NO restocking fee so you'll get everything back. Just remember not throw out the original packaging.

thks for the info mate...
i checked out another store... ambientweather.com
same price
but it had a reseller rating of 10/10
i'll do some more research on it and order it tomorrow morning.
btw i think i'll go for eh-150.
px100 costs 17$ more and i dont think i can afford it.

once again thanks for the info

IMO I didn't like the PX100 at all. Both the PortaPro and KSC75 sounded much better. Plus it doesn't isolate.

It really depends on preference. If youre really on a low budget, get Koss KSC75 for when isolation isnt a factor and when you want good detail, and JVC Marshmallows for when you need isolation, like on a noisy plane or train, etc.

The Sennheiser PX100 is an excellent headphone for Classical Music and things that youd like to relax to.....and i love mine,,but theyre not exciting enough for Techno music and Rock, except maybe some Classic Rock and Blues.

Maybe KSC75 and a Mint Amp from EBAY? Ok,,Maybe pushing the limits here...lol.

the wait if finally over!!

after 3 months of hard work and after transporting them 10k miles across the world, i finally got my very own cans
biggrin.gif

i bought koss ksc75 and senn hd201.
and just like what every1 here said. ksc75 is way way better than hd201.
i am very very happy with both the cans. they sound fantastic in my ipod
smily_headphones1.gif

the hd201s r bit high on treble and lack the bass...but oh well...they r still gud.
now i am gonna buy more pairs of ksc75 everytime someone i know travels to u.s
smily_headphones1.gif
after hearing it every1 in my office wants to buy one ..lol

the reason i posted was to say thanks to each and every1 of u who replied

i wanted to go for eh-150 but i guess it can wait.

there was one issue which disappointed me though.
i connected my sennheiser hd-201 to my pc and the treble was too high. or shall i say there was no bass at all. or maybe i was expectin too much.

anyway me smiles
