OK I love the mid-centric nature of the SE215 but the treble is not all that sparkly. From what I read the IE7 is a more mid-centric IEM than the IE8 with slightly less bass and about the same treble. Is that an accurate assessment from those who own or have owned them? Or is there a newer IEM that has surpassed the IE7 I should be focusing on?

Hopefully I can get a few responses from people who have owned or have heard both the SE215 and the IE7 but at this point I want input for anyone with knowledge on the IE7 and anything that is better.

Finally I am a dynamic speaker kind of guy so no BA based IEM's please as I already own the SM3 which is med centric but find it strangely unsatisfying bass wise and to soe degree treble wise.

Thanks

hmm a bit less treble would be alright so long as it detailed.

Anyone else want to chime in?

Interesting Mark, if I can find one of those it might be neat to see what it does.

I ended up getting a pair of GR07 vs the IE7. Someday I may get a pair of IE7 or getting lucky enough to hear a pair at meet somewhere. But for me the GR07 is close to the perfect IEM wooing with all of my music.

How much are you paying for the IE7's because you can get IE8's for £169.00 from hughes direct and they are a Authorized dealer, I got mine from them and they sound wonderful, Much better then my HD555's
