Firstly, sorry for posting like 3 threads within 2 days... I realized I wasn't asking the right question.
I have pretty much decided on the JH audio JH 5 model unless I hear very great things about these Westone AC2's when they come out.
If I do get the JH 5's will there be any point in getting a portable headphone amp to use with my iPod? I've heard that some IEM's don't necessarily need an amp to sound great so I would like to know so ahead of time. If the JH-5's sound much much better with an amp then could one recommend me a portable amp that would work good with them and an iPod? If I find out that they really need an amp or they won't sound very great and that a decent amp is another 400 dollars then I might just say forget it.
