Hi all, I guess this has been asked quite many times in the past, so sorry for asking again … Having an LP6K is it really worth moving to LPGT? Is there “that” difference? Thanks a lot!
I own both. Got the LPGT after having spent some months with the LP6K.

LP6K is slightly warmer than LPGT. The LPGT definitely is a step ahead in terms of resolution and dynamics. Your tunes are played back with more « grandeur », I may say. I also use the PMEQ from both devices and I feel that the LPGT has more finesse in the fine-tuning.

In my case, the LP6K is for holiday or business trip, the LPGT for home-use.

After years, I have settled with Lotoo Paw Gold Touch, Sony NW-WM1Z, Sony NW-WM1A, and Sony NW-A55.
I have owned several devices, but Sony won my heart with the WM1A that I received a few weeks ago from Japan.

Because of it , I now appreciate having a good local library instead of using streaming services.

Lucky for me, someone in my town had an almost new WM1Z that he barely used and was interested in trading it for my WM1A and some cash.

One of the best deals I've ever did.

The next logical step for me was Lotoo, for reference audio and in case I ever needed more power.

Then, the investment in the upgrade is something that would make sense? Just want to know if differences are such that justify the expense …

This question cannot really be answered because:

1) you are the only one who knows if it actually would make sense based on your financial situation and willingness to cash out the USD 2K+ for this purchase
2) you might find the differences between both devices to small to justify the investment (after you’ve done it already)

I would say that the price difference between both devices is fully justified. If you like the LP6K, you most likely will like the LPGT even better. How much? Not quantifiable from anyone’s perspective except yours.

If you can afford the LPGT without digging too deep in your savings, go ahead. The resale value of this DAP is quite good anyway.

Answered this question many times, but if you want better sound in just a slightly larger body, then yes. Definitely yes.

Lotoo OS would be much better if it allowed you to organize music by album artist as an option.

Organizing by song artist doesn't make much sense when you have thousands of songs.

What do you think?

Well, I am still locked out of my safe. A month without DAPs or headphones. The locksmith is coming on October 4th.

Has anyone used Lotoo Paw Gold Touch with Sony MDR-Z1R or Meze 109 Pro?

This will make sense if you want to get everything from the headphones that they are capable of, even in theory. But the player's potential will not be revealed.

This looks very nice my friend! I like how the croc goes around the edge, and the red stitching. Amazing work.
Thank you. It's one of my favorite cases. Fits perfectly in the hand, is comfortable and looks gorgeous.
