Lotoo PAW Gold Touch - Touchscreen, 4.4mm Bal, USB DAC, Bluetooth

Yeah, update was lightning fast, was getting around 500Mb/s. Updating PAW6k now, that one is "only" 100Mb/s :)

Btw, they also added screen flipping where you can flip it 180deg thus can have volume and headphone ports at the bottom. Theme color change is cool since PAW6k has a different theme color, I was "jealous" before :D But I think flipping the screen will be useful for some as well who like their headphone jack at the bottom of the DAP.
Is the screen flipping added to PAW6K too?

When great players come head to head with each other. Both of them have different characteristics and they complement each other well. I would say the LPGT is generally fuller in sound and the instruments are closer and have more weight in comparison to the SP2000 Onyx. While the SP2K have more space between the vocal and instrument. Both of them have excellent detail.

There is some news from Japan on the PAW S1 https://e-earphone.blog/?p=1348072
Interesting. No news yet of the actual DAC used I guess? The power seems pretty good on paper.

Still don't see a dedicated S1 thread, so I will reply here since we already talked about it, and I see quite an overlap in functionality between Lotoo DAPs and this S1 USB dac/amp.

So, I noticed that Musicteck already put S1 on pre-sale, and I'm sure this is just a copy of Lotoo's S1 product listing. Everything is there, but no mentioning of the actual DAC? Does anybody know which DAC they are using? I re-read the listing multiple times, thought I missed it, but I still can't see it. And, btw, it goes for $165, which is a lot lower in comparison to e-earphone pricing when converted from yen to usd. Global economy under pandemic :D

Just confirmed, they are using AKM 4377 DAC.

Still not included shipping cost. Otherwise it is same with e-earphone. Haha.

Are you suggesting the double price from e-earphone includes free shipping? :p International shipping charges or dealing with resale agent from Japan (what a pain) can triple the price lol!

Either case is not a good buy is what I mean.

Yes shipping from Musicteck is expensive ( fifty USD ) for such light item, but is very fast.

It would be great if they(lotoo) can sell in aliexpress directly.

The Lotoo prices in Japan is ridiculous. I thought it was going to be $200‐250 based on e-earphone prices, but it appears to be a lot cheaper. :)

If you can arrange a few friends in your area to purchase together, the Musicteck shipping cost is easier to swallow. It appears it doesn't matter if you purchase one or ten, the shipping remains at $50. Well, maybe ten is a bit too much, but if you can find 3-4 friends, then it's reasonable.
