Im looking for headphones with good sound and style. I listen to mostly hip hop and would love a deep sounding bass. These are the ones that I have found http://www.amazon.com/Shure-Professional-Studio-Headphones-Black/dp/B002DP1FTU/ref=pd_cp_e_1 and was wondering what you guys think of them. I would be using them with my ipod and laptop mostly.

Thanks alot!

would you be willing to extend your budget?
http://www.amazon.com/Shure-SRH750-DJ-Headphones-Black/dp/B002PAQYK8/ref=sr_1_16?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1290726199&sr=1-16
these look better then those IMO and are said to have much better bass as well, I own a pair and ill tell you that the bass is just amazing, they pack punch even on low volumes

Or even these http://www.amazon.com/Shure-SRH840-Professional-Monitoring-Earphones/dp/B002DP8IEK theyre on sale for $149

I think their bass response is not enough for you, since you like bass in your music.

The 750dj's have good bass, but they are over your budget.

Im leaning towards the Shure SRH750. How is the bass on these? Are they practical and portable? Also do they come with a pin that can go into an iPod or laptop?

Thanks!

they are punchy, even at low volumes
they are somewhat portable, they fold nicely and will easily fit in a bag
it's comes with the plug that fits into ipods and laptops and an adapter for stereos
they are also easily driven by an ipod and laptop as well, so no need to invest in an amp, and if you want to, it doesn't need to be an expensive one

the sony xb range (300, 500, 700) are renowned bass headphones and have extremely punchy bass as well as looking relatively nice depending on your taste. these also cost well under 100$. unlike many other headphones on this post these are also extremely comfortable.

hope this helps allot :D
