Hi all.
 
I'm looking to buy my son new headphones. He plays and records a lot of guitar and has a variety of guitar amps.
He also listens to a lot of electronica/trance on his ipod. He also re-mixes music on his computer, again mostly trance, etc.
 
My budget would be $150 CDN or so.
 
The only other headphones he's had where a pair of Wesc Orange bagpipes. I forgot, he also uses a Korg synth to record and mix music.

Hi, get him a pair of ATH-M50. They fit in your price range and are highly recommended here. They also have great bass for his trance/electronica music. Good luck. He will enjoy them for sure!

I am 15 and my parents were weary of getting me Grado's and a uDac. Silly adults and their sense...
