Looking for "must have" classic rock albums

bump for a good time

There is just so much music that came from that era. When I think on the time, I like the Temptations, Johnny Rivers and Tommy James and the Shondells as much as any other classic rock group.

Guess that era was really a creative time in music development. You couldn't really pigeonhole yourself to one genre exclusively.

Long live rock and roll.

Dust-Dust

Have had this cd for ages. Love it.

Journey's first two releases are worth the buy if you're a prog. rock fan.

Do I dare mention getting Greatest Hits to get the taste of an artist? For a few artists, this is the value buy since most of the rest is mediocre.

Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels played at my cousins high school prom in Ponca City, OK back in the mid to late 60's. Continental Oil Company (now known as CONOCO) had their corporate headquarters in Ponca City and they footed the bill.

One must have album
Steppenwolf - Monster

A really nice list of classic rock albums. Not all of them are very well known, so thanks for reminding me of buying some of these (like Poco, Traffic++)
