Hey, I'm looking for a nice pair of closed headphones $100-$200 range only being used for music. I mainly listen to trance but techno and progressive sometimes source will be mp3 and lossless.

I have looked at the HD448, but want some other chooses aswell and opinions!!

Plenty of threads on this mate. Just skip through a few pages and you'll find what you're after

M50 is a popular choice for this price range.

Then the M50 or SRH-840s would be good starts.

If you were to stretch your amp budget to maybe a Little Dot MKIII tube amp, I highly recommend the beyer DT770/600.

You can also check the Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO (80 ohm version)

I wouldn't bother...boomy bass and very coloured headphones that just didn't sound right to me (and I'm a big beyerdynamic fan).

But, if it's bass you want, then this might fit the bill.

Vocals is what I am mainly looking for, & the Beyer DT 770 PRO isn't the most appealing headphones. M50's seems to be a nice pair of cans

The Shure SRH-840s are also a good choice, but I found the M50s more comfortable.
