I practice tai chi (and occasionally play with kung fu forms as much as my aging body is able). I have two phones I alternate between, one supporting aptx-HD and the other supporting LDAC. I use Tidal Hi-Fi on both.
After an insane amount of time spent on research a couple of years ago,
I mean, I did a LOT of research and testing back then before choosing those (I can tell you from experience the BeO version with this same form factor back then was beyond atrocious in sound quality).
At the time, I read and posted a lot on this forum at the time. That's what led to a solution I was very happy with.
I went with the RBH ProStereo H2. This is the THE form factor that I need. Has controls on the cord, I can hang them around my neck, and they're fine with any kind of jumping around I might do.
I have been very happy with the H2 (although only upon recently trying them with Tidal Master files did I realize how much is still being lost with typical Hi-Fi with these even with LDAC -- but that's okay since with Hi-Fi I've been very happy with the results).
Perfect form factor for me. Supports aptx-HD and LDAC with excellent sound quality (no heavy base or EQ at all -- well, it's got a few EQ presets available but who wants that?).
So...
Now, I see they've been discontinued.
