I haven't tried it so I don't know the quality. I believe the most recommended model is the 8320.

Just by looking at the Monoprice 8320, they seem really cheap.
Very plastic looking + I can definitely see the line where they molded the two pieces together.

I find that in general the most comfortable IEMs tend to be those that are very ergonomic, like the Panasonic RPHJE450 for example, whichich has the nozzle coming out from near the edge at an angle. The Soundmagic ES18 is not like that, so it is only average in comfort.

I was about to call it and get the Soundmagic, However,
I just found the Sony's for 19$ (only 2$ more than the Soundmagic) on Amazon.
They are blue, but who cares. Looking for quality and not looks.

As they are pretty much priced the same right now, I am once again confused..

The Sony has 13.5mm drivers vs 10mm drivers for the ES18, so the Sony will deliver more deep bass power. The ES18 is faster to react to the music, while the EX210B is smooth and laid back, and gives slower more longer lasting bass. . The EX210B has a warmer sound, which might be good or bad depending on what you want. The EX210B feels more durable. The EX210B was originally $40, while the ES18 was always around $12.

if I could afford both I guess I would have probably bought a better one for 40$-50$ that has good bass + highs.
Unfortunately I can't afford them both..

I guess the Sony's are better for that price then. Seems like it's settled.

Thank you very much JK1, liquidzoo and zamorin for you help! :)

Sometimes looks can be deceiving. My previous IEM (Crossroads Bijou3) looked like it could last but broke down in about a year. Best to check Monoprice threads here to ascertain the quality. The Sony MH1C is also highly rated and some people have got it for about USD20 on Amazon.

The Monoprice 8320's build quality is actually quite decent. It looks plasticy and fragile, but it is pretty good for the price. It sounds more like $30.

Try some of the cheaper Chi-fi HP

Superlux HD-668b 168CNY/$27 USD
Edifier H840 198/$32
Bingle "Denmark" B-850-M 129/$21
Evo Plextor D500 177/$28
Sennic ST-80 85/$14

The Bingle is the best of the lot with bass, and the 668 is unbeatable for classical and jazz well up over $100 USD.

These were all bought on TaoBao, do not know of their availability where you are.

You can try the titanium Koss' - KTXPro-1 and the Koss KSC75. Both are around $15-$20.

Good listening!

The problem with TaoBao is, it's all in Chinese.

Seriosly. Last week I saw someone point out that MH1C were going for as low as $15 I think. Unless you're very bothered by the design I'd really suggest you get a pair. They also come with great stock tips. Full functionality for android.

I seriously fail to understand the pricing on TaoBao..

It says they cost 119 Yen - 129 Yen, which is less than 1.5$!
What am I missing here?
