Hi folks,
I'm a bit overwhelmed. So far I have listened to lossless files on a very old portable amp made by Headroom. I love listening. To all types of music but have a preference for classic rock and jazz. My Dad passed away and left me some money to buy a personal listening "experience " in his memory. I've researched sennheiser and read a lot of good reviews on the HD 800's and 700's. I'm not sur whether investing in a balanced amp is worth the price. Getting a combined amp/Dac from headroom looks like a way to go as well. Just looking for other people's experience with this type of budget. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
David
