My GR07 classics just broke and I'm looking to replace them with something different. I typically only own 1 pair at a time so I'd prefer an all-around performer.

Music Preferences

EDM(Sometimes vocal based, sometimes beat based)
Accoustic (Folky kind of stuff)
Rock

Isolation
I will be wearing them in crowded libraries, so I'd like enough isolation to not disturb the other readers.

Source/Amp Requirements
I'm willing to buy ~$100 portable dac/amp if it would really boost performance. Otherwise source would be a Qualcomm Galaxy Note 4. I will be streaming Spotify/Tidal.

Budget
$130

Thanks :)

I just purchased the RHA ma750i not 3 hours ago, but they may be good for you. Three year warranty, stainless steel all around, great accessories. As far as I know they need no amp, but I may be wrong. I am playing them straight from my iPhone 6s and they sound pretty good. A little brighter than I'm used to, but I'm coming from the Beats Studio Wireless and my ears are not acclimated. There are many many reveiws for it on hear, so you can look it up if you'd like.

Look up the **** 4 in 1, Its $30ish and from what i heard it can keep up with headphones in the $200-300 bracket.

saves you $100

I just got the Fiio EX1 They sound fantastic (great detail and sound stage) and will come in well under your budget.

The sound isolation is less than other IEMs but as long as you don't listed at very loud volumes they should be ok.

I've never heard of **** but the price definitely seems compelling. I think they are a good competitor to the ttpod t1 with a similar sound signature and asking price.

Well I don't even think ttpod t1 would stand a chance vs **** 4 in 1 if they compare the 4 in 1 to the dunu 2000 and the akg 3003.

Try get the Dunu DN 1000 second hand on Amazon, or stretch your budget $15-20. Won't need an AMP and you're getting a fantastic all rounder, triple driver. Crystal clear, fantastic bass with no mid bleed. Huge soundstage. Isolation above average. Great for your music tastes.

RHA M750 is also a good shout for your budget.

maybe even look into the Yamaha EPH100 which has amazing isolation and best bass I've heard in an IEM... goes really deep and with great resolution. Plus clear mids.

I have the same phone while the Note 4 is a crappy phone for audio i do have a earphone that i use everyday and love, that is the Ostry KC06, the KC06 are mostly balanced they sound great on any type of music they do everything great even bass. Thier small so you could use then for a long time without any strained. The cable on the earphome are not the best but i haven't seen a Chinese earphone with a great cable, i had to cut a peace out of those bread twist tie and used it as a chin slider other then that these earphone will continue to be my everyday workhorse
