Hey guys,

I'm looking to upgrade from my e7/e9 amp to something that really sparkles. It's really important that I'm able to easily connect the amp to my laptop via usb so a built in dac is a requirement. Currently I use my K701 and recabled Pro 900's, but I have a recabled HD650 on the way within the next month.

I'm looking for something that will really bring to life these headphones more so than my e7/e9 which I think are fantastic. I'm not very knowledgeable in the world of headphone amps which is why I really need some suggestions here because I don't even know where to look.

My budget is $500. I appreciate all input.

I think ebay is the only place to order them, but the seller "coolfungadget" is the actual manufacturer from what I've read in threads discussing the D100, and has a 100% rating on ebay.

Awesome thank you.

This looks very promising for what I'm looking for. I'm going to wait about a week to see if there are any other options, but right now this is the top contendor.

Alright so I've finally come around to making the purchase. I've transfered $500 to my paypal and I'm planning to order the D100. BUT before I do I wanted to check in and see if anybody had some other suggestions that I should consider.

Ive been looking around and i think id like to try some tubes. The shiit lyr or valhalla look fantastic and are within my budget.

Wouldnt i need a dac to go along with tubes? Ultimately it has to be fed via optical or usb from my laptop. What dac would pair up well? Im very lost when it comes to amps but i really want to upgrade so all input is highly appreciated.
