Not way off, at least people are discussing amp pairings with the 800. I loved the La Figaro 339 with the 800S when I had both here. Really nice tonality and fullness to the sound. I had some nice tubes, forget which now. I still wish I had kept that rig, liked everything about it.

^^ not way off definitely as SD said. Amps and headphones pairing is important. Selecting a headphone without considering the source and amp will not give the best results.

Yes, it did, still preferred the 339 mind you, but the Mojo is pretty darn stunning for such a tiny little device.

Agree. It drove my LCD-2f well. Surprise me. Again regretted selling it but I was churning through gear like the seasons.

If you haven’t already have a look at the innerfidelity website. There is a wall of fame there.

There’s recently been a change in personnel there but the wall of fame from before might be a good starting point resource for you
