I was just checking up on Sony's website and under the Dj/Premium Audio section they have the new MDR-ZX100 headphones. They are the exact same price as the MDR-v150 headphones we all know to hate, so I doubt they are any better. The stats are also the same. I see the MDR-v150's all over school and I just have to think, why do people fall for this crap? I'm sure I'll see plenty of these around soon. The only positive thing I can see it doesn't have the huge cable that the MDR-v150's have.

To tell the truth, they dont look to bad in white.

Looks like there just taking old ones and bumping up the price saying its a "different edition". Now they have v150i's

Haha, yeah, same headphones, but there is a slight difference with the V150iP. Not sure if an in-line remote and mic on a pair of not-so-good headphones are worth the $20 extra.

For I what I use DJ headphones for (Pro Tools SE work), these aren't too bad. Got mine for $24. Has a moderate  bass but sounds adequate for me.

I expect to hear this from high end guys

But for 20$ This is great quality for what you pay.

They dont sound bad at all, it has great mids.
The bass is there and shouldnt be loud and boomy for what you pay.

I am a low budget person who ran on 10$ headphones for his life and these are the greatest headphones Ive payed for. I will be getting a job soon so I can afford high end, hope to update

No Im visiting Mexico so you usually get knock offs and such.

I'm lucky to have these right now, it was a gift.

But like I said I'll be working in the states soon and I'll buy a 100$ range headphone to get started, This is one of the greatest headphones I've bought for 20$

I saw my coworker rocking these today... They look like cheap consumer headphones..

Can any of you guys with it.. maybe provide a more in depth review? (out of curiousity, I am interested lol)

Comparisons vs.. say.. HD201, Monoprice 8323, Senn HD419/428?
