OK, I can put my hand on it and not have to remove it. I find it odd that the warmest piece is the EQ not the amp.
The Mini+ draws a lot of voltage. The SMPS is a 16V DC wall wart. Warm to the touch is absolutely normal. I wouldn’t worry about it. The Mini + doesn’t use crazy sophisticated heat sinks either. Why? Because it doesn’t have to. 🤝😁

Just a quick note about Schiit wall warts. They’re AC, not DC…

☺️ yes of course. I got ahead of myself. In the act of the conversion from AC to DC they draw above average voltage, especially for such a small device. Cheers. Thank you for correcting me.
