The Mini+ draws a lot of voltage. The SMPS is a 16V DC wall wart. Warm to the touch is absolutely normal. I wouldn’t worry about it. The Mini + doesn’t use crazy sophisticated heat sinks either. Why? Because it doesn’t have to.

yes of course. I got ahead of myself. In the act of the conversion from AC to DC they draw above average voltage, especially for such a small device. Cheers. Thank you for correcting me.
