Simple! Don't get the SE, just the basic MKIV it's the same amp. You're going to get more tubes anyway, it's what we do. By saving $100 in 1 or 2 months you can also get the WA6.

There is no way a man can have to many amps. I have 5 Tube power amps, 3 solid state power amps and 4 desktop headphone amps.

The MKIV is only $300, a few ball games and a couple of dinners.

Hi all, I'm still contemplating whether I should go for LD MKIII or IV or even the Darkvoice 336i. I'm using the Alessandro MS2 and not sure which of these amps will synergize well. I'm not considering the SE of MKIV due to budget constraint.

Any recommendation? Thanks all.
