Quick question and I assume the answer is yes, but can I get an RCA-->3.5 female and just plugs headphones right in? Or will I need an amp? If it matters, the phones in question are a pair of SR60i. Thanks all.

You need an amp. The DAC is sending out a line level signal, and it is not meant to be connected directly to a pair of headphones.
