List of High-End Digital Source Owners on Head-Fi Continued

I just added a Berkeley Audio Alpha DAC to my rig.

If the OP is still updating, it reads like so: Music Vault $1725.00 > Modwright Transporter $3500.00 > Berkeley DAC $5000.00

By the bye....that Berkeley beats any DAC I've ever heard. I bought it without the benefit of hearing it, but it's turned out to be one of the best purchases I've ever made. Sort of a shame to be using the Transporter just as a music server now, but the Berkeley is simply that good. Hopefully that will take care of the source end of things for a long while.

The gentleman who makes and markets the music vaults is a friend and neighbor of mine, Case Sensitive. Do you have any kind words you might like to say about it for his published materials?

There are more than one of us that are curious what's inside the Berkeley DAC, so if you want to open it up and take pictures you could be a hero

Well, I have got a Linn Akurate CD player for one year. I paid 6100 euro and it is in the list already with a price of 7000$.

I haven't yet could upgrade my amplifier and headphone (a nice ATH-A900Ti).

My job will be moving in few months far away and I will have to follow it. I hope I have enough space at my new home for a serious setup including speakers and tubes!. It is a long awaited dream and now I have a wife that understand me.

Hello,

Need to change my digital system:

I got Nakamichi Dragon DAC which was 15000$ in 1995 with the CD-Player.

I didn't receive the Stax DAC X1T dac because of a bad seller (but got refund
