Liquid Links Cable Discussion Thread

Swapped out the stock 2 pin with the ConX connector kit. Now I have both MMCX or 2 Pin to use with the same cable. I'm really impressed with this cable under the microscope. It has fibers that are encased in twisted conductors. In between the bundles of wires I also observed different gauges of copper strands. Good stuff man.
Interesting stuff! Where were You able to source conx connectors? Which solder did You use?
Also, how do you solder the wire on it?

wasn’t aware they carry those.
And just be aware - effect audio 2pins does widen your pins in iems. So later you might need to change the socket. I experienced that on my QDC iem

I can leave the 2 pin conx pins permanently into the IEMS and just unscrew them when I need to swap to other IEM's. I have 3 pairs each of MMCX and 2 pin connectors. So I'm pretty much set for a long time, since I don't have that many 2 pin IEM's compared to my MMCX collections of IEM's.

I recently acquired a Liquid Links Venom (2-pin, 4.4mm) and I'm quite impressed! Currently equipped on the MEST MKII (CIEM), I immediately noticed an upgrade in technical presentation. Fluidity, space and instrument separation remind me of my over-ear setup with this cable. Totally worth it, IMO!

I have a DIVA 2023 on the way and that comes with the Conti. Very excited to hear the IEM and cable! :)

Does anyone know where to go to purchase the Liquid Links Conti, since Musictek does not carry it anymore.
There's mestudiobiz, I think they're based in Hong Kong.

Side note, seems like Liquid Links has a new version of their previous cable, Evua. Waiting to see what others think about it!

I stumbled over a cable brand called "MELODY cable studio". They are using Liquid Links plugs and connectors. The prices are more affordable compared to Liquid cables. Someone knows if they are related or tried one of these cables?

Hi guys,

Which of the Effect Audio cables do you think can be compared to the LL Venom? I am considering the Code23 from EA and assume the Venom is better than the Code23. If someone has a direct comparison, please let me know.

Thanks
