Light Harmonic Geek Wave

My question is, buying time for what?
Is Larry looking to get out of town?
If the whole thing is shot, what's the benefit of dragging it out?
You'd think he'd take off already, cash in a suitcase, first plane out of the country.
Makes me hope for a positive outcome...

Please stop giving LH and Team ideas. LH and Team may pull a "El Chapo Guzman" escape, and start digging tunnels!

LH Labs will be launching their 3rd version of Geek Out, the GOV2A. Still no working prototype of the Geek Wave in 2.7 years. Does any one at LH Labs actually care?

Cant finish the Wave without working capital... I kid I kid , I hope.

Ha! But seriously, the UI looks pretty good IMHO. Hope we get to use it before it becomes obsolete...

Yes, looking good.  Can't wait to get it.  Looks like the Source is moving along also!

Yeah, I got an email about a Source survey "coming soon".

And I'm thinking that the Source will be a significant change in how my system runs. Currently I play files either off my laptop or via a DAP, and it will be nice to have a dedicated music server with all types of outputs, which will make it easier to test/play with different DACs.

Cheers

Good to see something... though that reverse swipe seems weird.  I associate that swipe with:
* going back
* deleting

Not selecting more details.

Long tap, details button or swipe in the other direction seems to match what I see in other apps.

So here's my issue. I Crowdfunded my Pono the same time as the Wave (approximately), got it years ago, and have used it almost daily. It started acting up (I can't do anything with the internal memory, adding or deleting music). It still plays fine. I was thinking of getting another in case it today craps out on me. I'm in for a TOTL Wave, feel like I don't want to buy another "carry me over" dap, but if I still have years to go for the Wave, I'd just get another. Of course, nobody here knows when Wave is coming, I'm just thinking out loud.

Since the Wave is taking years to develop, you should ask LH Labs to pay for your replacement Pono!

Ha! Good luck with that!

Music is mandatory .... so no use waiting on LHL. I've filled out several surveys with LHL over the years and have nothing to show for it. So, while "survey coming soon" feels good, don't hold your breath. And defiantly keep the music flowing, no matter what.

That was a nice update. Does anyone know if the chassis on top is only for the GW256 or is it for the GWX128 as well?
