Oh I checked my junk e-mail inbox and found a similar message but with:
For Wave 64 Backers — We are working on two options for suppliers to make sure the production supply will be enough. The first option is that we make 64G EMMC on the board. The second options is to add 64G storage through the mSATA interface. We prefer option (2) more however, it will be decided a bit later due to the high volume level of Wave 64.

Thank you so much for your patience with this project! We have a big team working on it to ensure the user will get the best build and audio quality possible. We will be posting more updates through emails and IGG.

Just to keep everything public, I got an email as above but with the following addendum:
---
For XD128 / X128 Backer — Good news for you! By the feedback we have received, we have THREE separate output connectors.

(1) Single-ended headphone + optical SPDIF output
(2) 4 pin TRRS balanaced headphone output
(3) Line Out connector

— Your Wave would be used as good music server and player that connects to your home audio system through Line Out directly. This will optimize the audio performance.
---

As a reminder, I am in for two X 128s (idiot...). Both with WiFi & Bluetooth, one with femto and THD.

so, Massdrop has a Blue A&K 240, not the greatest price, but not bad either. might have gone for this if I weren't waiting for a Wave...

I guess it comes down to personal preference, but I'd skip the AK240 Blue Note package and go with something like the Sony NW-WM1A. Then I'd have a few hundred left over for music. Someone who loves the physical products that come with the Blue Note would probably prefer to go with it instead, but all I care about is the music.

The Blue Note/hi rez is part of the appeal, but $1.5k does buy a lot of high resolution albums...

“He (Larry) listed who is currently on their team, mentioning that they're adding a new customer service person.”

Can’t come soon enough I say! I’ve been waiting ages for a response from Customer Service on a couple of matters ...

Look at all these new daps that are out. Hidiz, Fiio, etc. All have what the wave is suppose to have and are out in the market to purchase at reasonable prices. I don't think we'll ever see this thing and we've been holding onto hope for 3 plus years.

Things have gotten very quiet out of LH Labs recently, likely not a good sign...

Really? Didn't order Source SE, but maxed out/perked out Source, didn't get any notice or post about it.
