It's been such a long time and I haven't been following the developments but will our Waves have mSD or SD card slots? Thanks

Wow Mickey. I have about ITB of classical muisic legit bought ripped CDs or downloaded paid for. I must admit I am not interested in paying monthly streaming fees for anything except cable Tv which well doesn't get the channels I want to watch here anyway so I gave up cable TV.

About IEMS for wave? what pins will fit? Currently I have IE80s and Noble 6's apart for HD800 which to be honest I find too hot to listen too for long.

And no one has answered my questioned about why 3 years ago did I buy lightening cables with Wave. It seemed important then. I have the cable and no idea what to sue it for????? SIlly me.

You mean Lightspeed cables, which are USB cables made by LH Labs.

Lightning cables are an Apple product for use with newer iOS devices.

  Yes THx fir te correction
You mean Lightspeed cables, which are USB cables made by LH Labs.
What was essential about them?

Will you be using the Wave as an external DAC for a computer as well? If so, then those Lightspeed cables will be needed.

If not, hard to say.

Yes. I may well use Wave as a Dac with computer as I have some good "old" wooden boxed Sony speakers which sound good and may well sound even better with Wave. I assume LH will be supplying us with a USB adapter to a C plug......my new Computer still has old USB port only the very latest models coming next year here will have C standard ports. I have also dobbed myseff in for a GO2A I assume The Lightspeed may be of use with that? I just hope that and Wave comes with adapters for both B and C standard USB
Thanks.

Wave internal storage options coming down in price for the older capacities as new ones become available, this 512GB unit is on sale at TigerDirect right now for $269, "Gen3" Read/Write speeds are off the charts:

Toshiba OCZ RD400 512GB SSD – Internal Unit, M.2 2280 Form Factor, PCIe Gen3, Up to 2600 MB/s Read Speed, Up to 1600 MB/s Write Speed

The 1TB version is still $759... yikes!

Nice, but that one is a m.2 2280 - that will not fit in the Wave. How about the 512GB m.2 2242 that MICKEY posted above - that one is only $158.99. Okay, so it is not a big name brand, but that matters little as long as it works.

So that form factor is too large for the Wave?

Where is that denoted? Is it 42mm vs. 80mm?

EDIT: I see it now, so 42mm is the size for the Wave, thank you.

Good thing I didn't pull a hair trigger and just buy it!
